If anyone doesn’t want to cook and would like to make a super fast appy these two are good. I’m Italian and naturally I love cheese lol. My Nanny often paired cheese with fruit.
A thin slice of apple, a piece of prosciutto, and a good piece of sharp cheddar.

Beyond Grant Writing with Cathy Mann, President of The Fundraising Lab

How to develop a sustainable fundraising program
You’re a master at writing grant proposals to raise (usually) project-based funds. But you hear about multi-million dollar fundraising campaigns and think, “If they can do it, why can’t we?”
In this session, you’ll hear what is required to move your fundraising efforts beyond grant writing to a more diversified program – and if it’s right or feasible for your organization. You’ll be given a “readiness checklist” to help identify your organization’s structural and cultural readiness to establish and maintain a sustainable fundraising program. You’ll be given a crash course on what it takes to raise funds in the private sector (I.e. from individuals, corporations, groups and foundations) and what the first steps are to get you there.

“All human relationships are underpinned by values … values determine the quality of the relationship and what the outcomes of the relationship will be.” B Hall the values advantage
We are moving forward with the establishment of DC MOVES Values. Having Values for DC MOVES will ground us in what we do, how we do it, how we behave with each other and for our community. Values will guide our decision making for the actions we choose to take moving forward for having the greatest impact we can have together.
At this juncture in history, in this place we hold special, and for those we call neighbour, we have a great opportunity to reflect on and define the values that will enable us to really make a difference as change makers – Better together.
